Creative Inklings is an intersectionally inclusive community offering affordable and accessible creative writing and visual arts classes.
We want you to express yourself - be seen and be heard!
Together, we will create spaces where you belong and support you to realise your own creative inklings.

Manifesto
We will speak up and speak out.
We will tell our stories and yours
We will create art with you and for you
we will make your art visible and your stories heard
We will never be above you, nor below you - always by your side
We embrace all of you - your rage, your grief,
your joy, and your creativity
We will make mistakes together, be uneasy together,
learn together, and find ease with each other
Together we will create spaces where we all belong

Portraits of Queer Women on Fire - Participant Information
This series of workshops will invite you to discover and/or develop your writing, drawing, painting and other creative habits. We seek to uncover and celebrate diverse forms of individual and collaborative creative self-expression.
Working beyond binaries and social norms, we will disrupt the concepts of bodies and identities as they are framed in cultural, political and social systems and structures to expand the definition of what a woman is or might be to include more and more women.
Classes will be self-contained and link together. You will attend all 4 sessions, and build a body of your own work, as well as contributing to collaborative projects within the programme. We will encourage you to develop work for exhibition or publication, and will welcome you to do so or to remain private in your practice as feels comfortable.
